You will have access to a course website for the duration of the Online course. You may be interested and observant about what is happening in movies beyond a superficial level. Good films from around the World with a message however, we may interpret them differently. Our interpretations depend on our experiences and motivations for example. Each week we will view a film and if you like, you can react to it. There is no pressure to. We see films from Britain, USA, Korea, Canada, Italy, India and more. One film is so long it is shown over two sessions. And some films have subtitles. The connecting theme is each film has a message, a generated feeling. You find your own meaning in each of the films, and it can be interesting to hear if other participants find a different meaning. You will be able to pick the level of appreciation you want – is it entertainment or more?
